Job description

As a Communications Apprentice, you'll be enrolled onto a Level 4 apprenticeship in public relations and communications, giving you the opportunity to earn whilst you learn. You'll work closely with the Transportation team to create engaging content that protects and enhances Kier Transportation, both internally and externally.

Your day-to-day will include:

1. Creating and scheduling social media posts
2. Assisting with drafting internal communications stories
3. Supporting with the creation and execution of internal and external campaigns
4. Reporting and measuring the impact of communications, evaluating effectiveness
5. Tracking daily news, flagging key industry developments to internal teams

Requirements include GCSE Maths and English, willingness to learn, and being a Disability Confident employer.
