A leading UK architecture practice is seeking an experienced and dynamic Communications and PR Manager to join its busy and collaborative Communications team. This pivotal role will support the practice’s external communications strategy, working closely with project teams and reporting to the Head of Communications. You will play a central role in enhancing the visibility and reputation of projects through thoughtful publicity planning, media engagement, and social media management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific publicity plans in collaboration with internal teams.
• Respond professionally to media requests and coordinate appropriate press engagement.
• Oversee and manage the practice’s social media presence, ensuring consistent and engaging output.
• Ensure alignment and consistency across all marketing communications and brand messaging.
• Create compelling marketing materials using architectural team inputs and high-quality photography.
• Work closely with colleagues at all levels to support and promote key communication initiatives.

Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar communications or PR role, ideally within architecture or the wider built environment (e.g., building engineering, landscape architecture).
• Proven ability to manage and deliver multiple communications plans simultaneously, while remaining adaptable to changing priorities.
• Strong collaboration skills, with confidence in working across large, multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in managing media relations, including handling complex project information and stakeholder sensitivities.
• Exceptional writing and editing abilities, with great attention to detail in both written and graphic content.
• A passion for storytelling and the ability to translate complex architectural ideas for a variety of audiences.
