Job summary

East Anglian Air Ambulance is seeking a Communications and Engagement Manager to shape how the region sees, hears and feels the impact of the charity. You’ll lead a small team within Brand and Marketing Communications and work closely with the Fundraising and Supporters Team to deliver compelling storytelling across campaigns, events and internal messaging.

This cross-charity role underpins income that keeps helicopters funded, crews trained and lives saved.

Job description

Location: Hybrid working – Norwich or Cambridge

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Contract: Fixed term Maternity cover for up to 12 months

As Communications and Engagement Manager, you’ll shape how the whole region sees, hears and feels the impact of this charity: from the campaigns that win new supporters, the events that bring communities face to face with our crews and volunteers, and the internal messages that keep our own people proud of the work they do.

You’ll lead a small, talented team within the Brand and Marketing Communications Team, and work hand-in-hand with the Fundraising and Supporters Team to deliver exceptional communications at every touchpoint. This is a cross-charity role: your storytelling underpins the income that keeps helicopters fuelled, crews trained and lives saved.

Every take‑off is a story in progress: a patient, a crew, a community responding. Your job is to help the region connect with that story.
