Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented Communications and Content Manager to join our clients Marketing team. This is a pivotal role focused on amplifying the company’s thought leadership, updates, and public communications through strategic use of LinkedIn, website and relevant press channels.

You will play a lead role in implementing some of their key campaigns and wider marketing projects, working closely with internal teams and third-party partners to foster collaboration and drive results. You will approach your work with passion and enthusiasm, and you will possess the perseverance and commitment necessary to see ideas through to execution.

Duties & Responsibilities for the Communications & Content Manager

  • Produce clear, compelling content across multiple formats, including legal articles, press releases, website copy, firm announcements, and external communications.
  • Translate complex legal topics into accessible content tailored for LinkedIn, media, and external audiences.
  • Review, edit, and develop high-quality content in collaboration with internal teams,
  • Identify and capitalise on timely media opportunities, ranging from news stories to thought leadership and commentary.
  • Ensuring alignment of all content published with the firm’s tone, brand, and strategic messaging.
  • Stay current with SEO and emerging AI trends to ensure web content is structured for both human readability and AI discoverability.
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate multi-channel communications and marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment with broader firmwide goals and measurable outcomes.
  • Liaise with Heads of Department and key internal stakeholders to gather content, approvals, and updates on legal developments and company news.
  • Manage distribution of press releases and company announcements.
  • Maintain relationships with journalists and editors, monitor press coverage and media performance.
  • Provide regular performance reports and suggest data-driven improvements.
  • Liaise with third-party partners to manage PR campaigns.
  • Oversee the creation and editing of content across blogs, press releases, website landing pages, and internal communications.
  • Advise internal teams on content best practices and contribute strong copywriting support as needed.
  • Support the Marketing Director and Managing Partner in shaping and delivering the firm’s brand positioning and visual identity.

Qualifications/Skills required for the Communications & Content Manager

  • Proven professional experience in a content, communications, or marketing role, ideally within professional services, or corporate environment
  • Educated to a degree level in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Law, or related field
  • Experience working with PR/media or journalism, including press release drafting and media liaison
  • Additional certifications or training in digital marketing, SEO, or content strategy preferred
  • Digital Marketing and SEO
