Job Description

Do you have Pension investment knowledge? You might be currently working in Fund Operations or perhaps in Pension Member Services, explaining different types of pension investments to customers. Are you looking to leverage this knowledge in a communications role? We are seeking an individual with prior experience in pension funds and investment strategies to join our Communications team and engage pension scheme members. A good understanding of Asset Classes, funds, equities, and default investment options is essential.

The role involves shaping materials to simplify complex terms, concepts, and language to educate and engage members. Experience with member engagement, pension fund and lifestyle options, and investment messaging is advantageous.

In more detail, you will:

1. Develop and deliver member communication materials and engagement campaigns throughout the member lifecycle.
2. Use data analytics to improve communications and campaigns.
3. Design and deliver campaigns supporting contact and engagement strategies, ensuring brand consistency and customer focus.
4. Manage relationships with agencies and suppliers to meet targets within budget.
5. Track and report on campaign performance to optimize impact.
6. Utilize customer insights to refine activities.
7. Create campaigns across channels within tight timeframes, incorporating testing and learning.
8. Build relationships with stakeholders internally and externally.
9. Adhere to risk and compliance frameworks, demonstrating professional behaviors.
10. Align customer journeys across departments for optimal results.

Qualifications

• Marketing or business degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical skills and budget management experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influence skills.
• Project management skills and adaptability to change.
• Attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of customer engagement strategies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.

Experience

• Experience designing and delivering consumer-facing communications.
• Experience working with creative agencies.
• Experience in marketing within a financial services organization preferred.
