Hours: 35 per week

Term time plus 2 days

Medina College is looking for an SEN Communication Support Worker to assist in supporting and including all students. Key responsibilities include developing learning activities for individual or groups of students, supporting access to academic learning, assisting subject teachers and the SENDCo, and providing administrative support to the SENDCo.
Medina College is seeking to appoint Learning Support Assistants to support access to learning for students with additional needs, provide general support to teachers in the management of students and the classroom and run targeted SEN interventions as directed by the SENDCo.

Medina College including the Isle of Wight VI Form is part of HISP MAT. The MAT is early in its growth and the Colleges are fast-paced, fun and caring environments in which to work and there are excellent opportunities for personal and professional growth and development.
