Job summary

The Royal Air Force (RAF) invites applications for a communications engineering role focused on maintaining and repairing critical wiring, antenna, and fibre optic systems across UK RAF stations. The role includes installation of mast structures and radomes, with readiness for overseas service during exercises and operations.

The position requires hands-on technical capability in radio communications, fibre optics, and related infrastructure, with deployment flexibility across the UK and abroad

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain and recover communication equipment.
• Investigate and fix faults with antenna systems, fibre optic and data communication cables.
• Assemble and install communication infrastructure such as antenna masts, fibre optic cables and radome installation structures.
• Be prepared to work anywhere in the UK on RAF Stations and potentially overseas during exercises or operations.
