Job summary

Abri is looking for two Communal Services Cleaners to join our frontline team. You’ll travel between our properties, keeping communal entrances and shared spaces clean, safe and welcoming while delivering high-quality service to residents.

A full UK driving licence is essential as you’ll move between sites. We’re seeking reliable, organised individuals with a keen eye for detail who thrive in a supportive, purpose-driven environment that makes a real difference in communities.

Qualifications

• Reliable and organised with a hands-on approach.
• Experience in cleaning, caretaking or facilities is preferred.
• Full UK driving licence is essential for travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Clean entrances, stairwells and corridors to a high standard.
• Carry out litter picking and graffiti removal as required.
• Perform fire safety checks and report issues promptly.
• Travel between properties and manage your own workload.
• Build positive relationships with residents and colleagues to keep spaces welcoming.

What you'll be doing

You'll spend your days travelling between our properties, caring for communal areas and ensuring they're presented to a high standard. From cleaning entrances, stairwells, and corridors to litter picking, graffiti removal and carrying out fire safety checks, no two days are quite the same.

You'll work independently, managing your own workload while being part of a supportive team that shares a passion for delivering great service. Along the way, you'll build positive relationships with customers and colleagues, taking pride in maintaining spaces that are safe, clean and welcoming.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is reliable, organised and enjoys practical, hands‑on work.

You'll ideally have experience in a cleaning, caretaking, or a facilities role and be comfortable using a range of cleaning products and equipment. Most importantly, you'll care about delivering a high‑quality service, have a great eye for detail and enjoy making a positive difference to the people who live in our communities.

A full UK driving licence is essential, as you'll travel between our locations during your working day.
