Our client, a leader in the communications sector, is currently seeking a Comms Engineer / Support Engineer for a contract role within the airport communications industry at Heathrow Airport.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the install, commissioning, and maintain CCTV, PA systems, access control, display screens, and structured cabling infrastructure.
  • Conduct site surveys and produce comprehensive documentation supporting survey information both on-site and in the office.
  • Provide project support, including assisting sub-contractors to arrange access and oversee their work.
  • Work on-site during both day and night shifts as required. 5 days a week
Job Requirements:
  • Proven experience Telecoms, Comms or data communications.
  • Solid background in installing and commissioning communications systems, especially CCTV, PA, access control, display screens and structured cabling.
  • CSCS/ECS certification is a must; SSSTS certification is preferred.
  • Ability to produce survey documentation
  • Ability to obtain a DBS check and subsequent Airside pass (5-year checkable work history required).
  • Experience working at Heathrow Airport is preferred but not essential.
  • Willingness to work a 7.5-hour day and adapt to working both day and night shifts when necessary.
