Your new role
The Commodity Procurement Specialist will operate as a key member of the Procurement team, reporting to the Procurement Manager. You will conduct sourcing processes across a range of defined commodity groups, involving all relevant stakeholders. You will manage the procurement of goods and services that support all Business Units across the organization. You will oversee the Purchase to Pay process for various materials, ensuring all requirements align with company standards.
The role involves analyzing spend and usage data to develop and implement procurement strategies across various commodities. The goal is to align with the organization’s business objectives, engage stakeholders, and consider whole life costing. The procurement process includes creating documentation, evaluating supplier submissions, conducting negotiations, managing the purchase-to-pay process, and proactively monitoring supplier performance.
