Job description

Ellesmere Promotions Trust managed by Volunteering Canterbury

You may not be available for all of our events, and that's OK - as long as you let us know. We need people who are reliable, and who if they commit to doing a task or event, we know they will complete the task and be there.

If you have a particular skill or interest - let us know and we will try to use that skills to both our advantages.

We have a busy calendar, and if you'd like to see more of what we do, you can check out our website.

There can be long days and quite physical work involved during setup - but it is so rewarding at the end of the day. We try to look after all our volunteers by providing water and sunscreen, and friendly people to work with. Being on our committee is a volunteer role.

What we need from you:

We understand our volunteers are busy people and that includes our Trustees and Committee. If you cannot take part in an event – that is fine (we have quite a few). Just let us know as soon as you can. However, we do need people who once they commit to a task or event can be relied on to complete the task and be at the event (unless an emergency arises). There is some physical work to be done during setup and pack down for some events – so a level of physical fitness is required. However, there are jobs for everyone and we can accommodate most physical requirements. We need people willing to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in; while having a laugh!
