Responsibilities

• Support all stages of commissioning cycle including needs assessment, service design, procurement, contract management, and evaluation.
• Assist in developing commissioning strategies and service specifications aligned with local priorities.
• Research & analysis to identify service gaps, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
• Performance monitoring to ensure contracts meet quality standards and outcomes.
• Stakeholder engagement with residents, service users, carers and professionals.
• Reporting: produce reports, briefings, and presentations for governance decisions.

What you will do

• Commissioning Cycle: Support all stages including needs assessment, service design, procurement, contract management, and evaluation.
• Strategy Development: Assist in developing commissioning strategies and service specifications aligned with local priorities.
• Research & Analysis: Conduct data analysis to identify service gaps, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
• Performance Monitoring: Track service delivery against agreed outcomes, ensuring compliance with contracts and quality standards.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate consultation with residents, service users, carers, and professionals.
• Reporting: Produce reports, briefings, and presentations to inform decision-making and governance processes.
• Experience in commissioning, procurement, contract management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of public sector commissioning processes is desirable.
