Join TGRC in a pivotal role that is steering the future of energy systems in Kent! We are actively seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager specializing in transformers for a 12-month contract. Offering an attractive day rate of £600, this position is tailored for a professional who is passionate about advancing grid technologies and energizing communities.

About the Role

As a Commissioning Manager, you will be at the forefront of deploying transformer systems critical to the success of our energy grid projects in Kent. Your expertise will ensure that these systems are commissioned efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
  • System Commissioning: Lead the setup and operational testing of transformer systems, ensuring they meet project specifications and performance standards.

  • Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control procedures to maintain high standards of commissioning and reduce potential system failures.

  • Team Leadership: Direct and support a team of engineers and technical staff, ensuring best practices in teamwork and project execution.

  • Safety Management: Oversee all health and safety aspects of the commissioning process, maintaining strict adherence to H&S protocols.

  • Stakeholder Interaction: Serve as the key point of contact for project stakeholders, providing timely updates and resolving any issues that arise during the commissioning phase.
