We are seeking a motivated individual with experience in commissioning, bidding for government-funded support programmes, or managing services for people who are rough sleeping or at risk of rough sleeping.
You will serve as the strategic lead in Bristol for reducing rough sleeping, coordinating bids for DLUHC Rough Sleeping Initiative Funding and commissioning related services.
Working closely with the rough sleeping sector and provider organisations, you will develop and contract manage client-focused services aimed at preventing and relieving rough sleeping. The role involves active engagement with agencies involved in reducing rough sleeping, including health and substance use services.
You will lead the co-produced bidding process for RSI funding with DLUHC advisors, stakeholders, and partner organisations; commission effective services; and oversee the implementation, quality, and performance monitoring of these services to ensure optimal client outcomes.
As part of a small, friendly team within the Council’s Housing Options Service, you will manage homelessness contracts and grants. Your partnership work will contribute to citywide efforts to reduce rough sleeping and ensure safety, especially during winter.
We seek someone committed to trauma-informed, client-focused solutions that support recovery from homelessness, sustainable accommodation, and independent living. Excellent organisational skills and flexibility to handle multiple projects are essential.
