Job description

Kanadevia Inova is planning to recruit Commissioning Managers for our Energy from Waste plants across the UK, aligned with the commissioning stage of our projects.

Position Overview

We are interested in speaking with Commissioning Managers or Leads seeking progression, especially those with experience in Energy from Waste and turnkey projects.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage Documentation and Commissioning: Oversee project documentation and commissioning activities, ensuring customer specifications are met.
  2. Control Schedule, Budget, and Safety: Ensure adherence to schedules, costs, and safety protocols, while managing risks and deviations.
  3. Supervise Personnel and Training: Supervise commissioning staff and facilitate customer training.
  4. Customer Liaison: Act as the main on-site contact for the customer, ensuring safe operations.
  5. QA/QC and Handover: Complete QA/QC and handover documentation prior to project takeover.
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in large-scale industrial plant construction, in roles such as Commissioning Manager or Lead Commissioning.
  • SMSTS/IOSH/NEBOSH or equivalent managers qualification.
  • Valid SCC safety training certification.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Business fluency in German and English; additional languages are advantageous.
