Job Description

Kanadevia Inova is planning to recruit Commissioning Managers for our Energy from Waste plants across the UK in preparation for the commissioning stage of our projects.

We are specifically interested in speaking to Commissioning Managers or Commissioning Leads seeking career progression, particularly those with experience in Energy from Waste and turnkey projects.

Responsibilities include:

1. Managing documentation and overseeing commissioning activities to ensure customer specifications are met.
2. Controlling project schedule, budget, and safety, while managing risks and deviations.
3. Supervising commissioning personnel and conducting customer training.
4. Acting as the main on-site contact for the customer, ensuring safe operations.
5. Ensuring QA/QC processes and handover documentation are completed before project takeover.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in large-scale industrial plant construction, specifically in commissioning management or leading commissioning roles.
• SMSTS, IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent health and safety management qualifications.
• Valid SCC safety certification for contractors.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Business fluency in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
