Job Description

Kanadevia Inova is planning the recruitment of Commissioning Managers for our Energy from Waste plants across the UK in time for the Commissioning stage of our plants. We are specifically interested in speaking to Commissioning Managers or Commissioning Leads looking for progression, if you have Energy from Waste and turnkey projects experience.

1. Manage Documentation and Commissioning: Oversee project documentation and commissioning activities, ensuring customer specifications are met.
2. Control Schedule, Budget, and Safety: Ensure adherence to schedules, costs, and safety, while managing risks and deviations.
3. Supervise Personnel and Training: Supervise commissioning staff and customer training.
4. Customer Liaison: Act as the main contact for the customer on-site, ensuring safe operations.
5. QA/QC and Handover: Ensure completion of QA/QC and handover documentation before project takeover.

Qualifications

1. 5+ years of experience in large-scale industrial plant construction in Commissioning Manager or Lead Commissioning roles
2. SMSTS/IOSH/NEBOSH Equivalent Managers Qualification
3. Valid SCC training certificate (Safety Certification for Contractors)
4. Strong leadership skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and negotiation skills
5. Business fluent in German and English; other foreign languages are an advantage
