About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead critical-stage commissioning activities on a major petrochemical project based in Liverpool. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical expertise and coordination across multiple stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient commissioning of mechanical and process systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of commissioning activities from mechanical completion through to system handover.
  • Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, and internal engineering and operations teams.
  • Ensure all commissioning work is carried out in compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage documentation, punch lists, and system readiness for handover.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Process Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in commissioning within petrochemical or related process industries.
  • Strong process mechanical bias, including piping systems, rotating equipment, and process plant operations.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards (e.g., API, ASME, IEC).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
