Our business

Our international EPC contractor client is recruiting for a Commissioning Manager to join their project team in Leatherhead, Surrey, to deliver a commissioning scope for a FEED project on an Offshore North Sea platform.

Key Responsibilities and background:

• Responsible to the Project Manager for the delivery of the commissioning scope on North Sea Platform.
• Identify commissioning execution risks and constraints related to brownfield scope to enable scope definition and reduce discovery issues.
• Develop the Commissioning Execution Plan - Brownfield, including maximizing onshore yard scope and minimizing offshore scope.
• Highlight design requirements and opportunities to support SATs, loop checking, and dynamic commissioning activities onshore prior to offshore hook-up.
• Prepare preliminary commissioning and start-up sequences, including LOSH (Limits of System Handover) for all phases.
• Define commissioning temporaries to support the strategy.
• Prepare preliminary greenfield commissioning and start-up execution plans.
• Collaborate with the client Commissioning Manager and KBR Engineering disciplines.
• Ensure commissioning requirements are incorporated into the design, attend P&ID, plot plan, and model reviews as needed.

Critical Skills & Personal Attributes:

• BSc / B.Eng. Degree in Engineering or HNC in relevant subjects
• Experience in writing commissioning deliverables
• Experience in commissioning Greenfield & Brownfield offshore gas installations
• Strong experience in the offshore oil & gas sector, preferably in North Sea
