Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Commissioning Manager to lead the commissioning of large-scale data centre projects in a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

You will develop comprehensive commissioning strategies, manage end-to-end processes, and coordinate across design, construction and commissioning teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery against milestones.

Qualifications

• Experience leading commissioning on large-scale data centre projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems (UPS, switchgear, generators, cooling).
• Ability to develop and execute detailed commissioning scripts and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commissioning strategy, plans, and procedures for the project.
• Drive end-to-end commissioning process including scope, schedule, and quality assurance.
• Attend meetings, monitor progress, and resolve issues proactively.
• Conduct site inspections to review QA/QC and commissioning activities.
• Provide independent oversight of client-appointed commissioning teams and third-party vendors.
• Coordinate between design, construction and commissioning teams for seamless integration.
• Review and approve detailed commissioning scripts and documentation.
• Track progress on milestones, budgets, and interdependencies.
• Ensure compliance with client standards, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to foster collaboration.

The Opportunity

• Develop and implement the commissioning strategy, plans, and procedures for the project.

• Have proven experience managing commissioning on large-scale data centre projects.
• Possess strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including UPS, switchgear, generators, cooling systems, and critical infrastructure.
• Can develop and execute detailed commissioning scripts and schedules.
• Hold a degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent experience.
• Are currently living or looking to move to Farciennes (you must have the legal right to work already)
• Demonstrate excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy building lasting relationships.
