Coventry City Council is seeking a Commissioning Manager for Adult Social Care to enhance services for residents with care needs. The role involves shaping commissioning priorities, engaging diverse communities, ensuring quality service delivery, and working collaboratively across sectors to support individuals in living independently.

A rare opportunity has arisen for the recruitment of a Commissioning Manager in Adult Social Care. We want to ensure that all adults with care and support needs, and carers, in Coventry can live as independently, safely, and well as possible and have real choice and control over the care they receive.
You will lead efforts to ensure sustainable and high-quality social care markets to support this.
In this role;
Although the role will have a focus on home support and other community services, the postholder would be expected to work across the whole portfolio of adult commissioning.
This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
