The Role

Our client, a leading contractor in the data centre sector, is seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to oversee and coordinate commissioning activities on a major project in Acton. This is a critical role ensuring that systems are delivered, tested, and handed over safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage commissioning activities for electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and client representatives during commissioning.
  • Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.
  • Ensure all commissioning work complies with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide reports and updates to senior project management.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Commissioning Manager on large-scale M&E or data centre projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of commissioning processes and LV/HV systems.
  • Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
