Job summary

Devon and Cornwall PCC is seeking an experienced project manager to join the Commissioning Team based at the OPCC in Middlemoor, Exeter. You will manage a complex portfolio of contracts valued over £4 million, providing commercial oversight and ensuring contract performance.

You will chair meetings, engage with suppliers, and use performance data (including Power BI) to identify trends, risks and areas for improvement while working across diverse stakeholders to shape procurement and service

Qualifications

• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to coordinate across multiple partners across complex programmes.
• Experience in contract management and driving commercial oversight to ensure value for money.
• Robust analytical thinking with ability to interrogate data to identify risks and opportunities.
• Experience chairing meetings and engaging with suppliers to deliver outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Chair meetings and engage directly with suppliers to drive performance.
• Provide strong commercial oversight of contracts and monitor performance against KPIs.
• Use performance data to identify trends, risks and areas for improvement across contracts.
• Support commissioning activity and procurement to shape service design and outcomes.
