We are now seeking a Commissioning Home Manager to lead the opening and long-term success of Oaklands, a new, purpose-built, 66-bed care home in Leyland, Lancashire. About the role

What You’ll Bring

  • Demonstrated leadership in a care home setting
  • In-depth knowledge of CQC standards and a strong regulatory performance track record
  • Passion for delivering person-centred care at the highest standard
  • Experience in commissioning or launching new services (preferred but not essential)
  • A current NMC pin – Registered Nurse (RGN)

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the commissioning process from build handover to first admissions
  • Recruit, inspire, and lead a dedicated, high-performing care team
  • Develop a strong local reputation and drive occupancy from private and local authority clients
  • Oversee clinical governance, compliance, staffing, and budgeting
  • Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive culture for residents and staff
  • Work closely with senior management to ensure long-term success
