Job summary

Altrad Babcock is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join the 20 year PPP consortium project. You will be responsible for requirements management, interrogating schedules, liaising with suppliers and developing maintainability/operability plans.

Ideally you hold NVQ3 or higher in a relevant discipline; a safety qualification is highly desirable. We value diverse teams and provide an inclusive environment where you can grow and contribute new ideas.

Responsibilities

• Interrogate schedules and liaise with suppliers to ensure alignment.

• Develop systems for maintainability and operability during commissioning.
• Contribute ideas and perspectives on the project setup.

Our Commissioning Engineers are experts in requirements management, they are able to interrogate schedules, liaise and work with our suppliers, interpret, verify and validate requirements, compile work level instructions and testing documentation and work together to develop systems to enable successful maintainability/operationability plans and commissioning. We aren't commissioning until at least 2027, so you'll get to see how a major project is set up but more importantly we are looking to you to bring some new ideas and some different perspectives.

Ideally we'd like you to have some formal qualifications in a relevant discipline at least to a minimum of NVQ3 or beyond. A safety qualification is also highly desirable too.
