Job summary

ExcelCS part of the Ipsum Group is seeking two Water Mains Commissioning Engineers to join our UK-wide team. You will independently commission water mains, work on various projects, and document commissioning data using our systems.

We offer strong earning potential, travel across the UK, and clear career progression with commitment to training and safety standards. A full UK driving licence is required and roles involve staying away from home as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in water mains commissioning.
• SHEA Water National Water Hygiene certification.
• Knowledge of IGN 4-01-03 Type 2 pressure testing for PE pipe.
• Commissioning qualifications such as EUSR or City & Guilds.
• Familiarity with app-based systems and GPS plotting is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently.
• Willingness to work away from home across the UK.
• Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Independently commission newly installed water mains.
• Work across projects throughout the UK.
• Swabbing, pressure testing, chlorination, dechlorination, sampling, and GPS plotting of installed water mains.
• Accurately record and submit commissioning data using company systems.

Location: Head office Colwyn Bay but can be based from Leicester depot with UK travel, working away from home required.

Salary: Will come with Additional on Target earnings, Company Van and Fuel card, Working away allowance and Meal allowance.

Employment type: Full Time, Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 47.5 hours per week
