Job summary

EDF Energy at Hinkley Point C in Bridgwater is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to drive safe, efficient electrical commissioning activities on one of Europe’s largest infrastructure projects.

You’ll work with multidisciplinary teams, resolve technical challenges, review test results and ensure readiness for operations, with Security Vetting requirements and a competitive salary including bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Delivering electrical engineering support across commissioning activities within a regulated industry such as nuclear, energy, utilities or complex infrastructure environments.
• Applying UK electrical legislation and regulatory frameworks, including CDM requirements.
• Supporting plant-based commissioning activities, including triage, troubleshooting, and resolving technical queries on site.
• Producing technical documentation including analysis reports and end-of-commissioning reports.
• Reviewing, verifying and validating commissioning test results, identifying non-conformances.

The Opportunity

As a Commissioning Engineer, youll play a key role in delivering safe, efficient electrical commissioning activities at Hinkley Point C (HPC). Youll resolve technical challenges, support testing, and help ensure readiness for operations as part of our journey towards An Electric Britain.

Youll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to daily commissioning progress on one of Europes largest infrastructure projects. Youll support complex technical decisions, from reviewing commissioning, and recommending solutions

To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which will ordinarily require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years.
