Building Automation Systems Commissioning Engineer - London - 3 to 4 months+

Next Ventures supports a global Data Center provider known for reliability, efficiency, and sustainability. They focus on scalable, flexible DC environments for cloud providers, hyperscalers, and large enterprises.

We are seeking several Building Automation System (BAS) Commissioning Engineers for a project in London, lasting 3-4 months.

The Role

1. Drive deployment, integration, and commissioning of BAS and SCADA systems within DC operations.
2. Configure and program Rockwell PLCs and Ignition SCADA to meet operational and monitoring goals.
3. Perform electrical and instrumentation setup, testing, and calibration for optimal system performance.
4. Collaborate with project teams to define system requirements, workflows, and deliverables.
5. Conduct on-site commissioning activities, including functional testing, troubleshooting, and validation.
6. Work onsite in London throughout the commissioning phase.

Your Experience

1. Over 5 years of experience in Industrial Automation, focusing on building and system hardware commissioning.
2. Knowledge of SCADA systems (preferably Ignition) and Rockwell PLCs.
3. Experience in Data Centers is a plus.
