Job description

Job title: Mechanical Commissioning Engineer

Job Type: Contract

IR35 Status: Inside IR35

Start date: Subject to clearance

Duration: 12 months

Pay rate: Negotiable

Location: Reading (5 days on site)

Hours of work: 08.00-17.00 – 40 Hours per week

Role information:
  • Plan, execute and document the commissioning process for mechanical and HVAC systems in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct performance tests, pre-commissioning checks, and validation of mechanical equipment, including chillers, boilers, pumps, and building management systems.
  • Provide expertise in the commissioning of mechanical systems with a focus on HVAC and building services.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
  • Degree/HNC/HND in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in mechanical commissioning.
  • Experience with HVAC and building services systems.
  • Highly regulated industry experience.

UK National Security Vetting Status – All candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance.
