The Role

As a Commissioning Engineer, you’ll be responsible for setting up, testing, and handing over lighting control systems, as well as providing aftercare support both on-site and remotely. You’ll work across technically diverse projects and be a key technical interface with clients and end users.

Key Responsibilities

On-Site & Remote Work

Commission and test lighting control systems

Provide client and internal training

Deliver technical support and fault diagnostics

Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

Install headend systems and configure IP networks

Troubleshoot issues and ensure systems run optimally

Documentation & Reporting

Submit daily activity and snagging reports

Complete system health checks and database backups

Maintain site documentation and records

Health & Safety

Hold a valid ECS/CSCS card

Complete company H&S training modules

Continuous Improvement

Stay current with new technologies and systems

Contribute to project reviews and product optimisation

What You’ll Need

Experience commissioning electrical or control systems

Knowledge of IP networking and diagnostic tools

Strong communication and troubleshooting skills

Self-motivated and able to work independently on-site

Willingness to travel as needed
