The Energy Division at ARM is currently recruiting an experienced Commissioning Engineer to work for a leading engineering consultancy client in Sellafield.

Job Overview:

As Commissioning Engineer, you will deliver assigned commissioning tasks safely and effectively, in accordance with commissioning process requirements.

This role is specific to candidates with experience in nuclear in-cell handler testing

Some of your duties will include:

• Execution of the arrangements for controlling, witnessing, recording, and assessing the results of commissioning tests that may affect safety.
• Delivering the commissioning work scope to an agreed strategy and plan in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Ensuring a proactive and balanced approach to safety (nuclear, radiological, conventional, and environmental) to ensure that safety is optimised during commissioning

What do you need to succeed?

• Nuclear Mechanical Systems Commissioning
• Experience in nuclear commissioning
• Project management knowledge, preferably APM member
