Job description

We are currently looking to recruit a Commissioning Assistant to join Kent County Council’s Adults’ Commissioning teams.

Role Overview

This role will support the delivery of all aspects of the commissioning cycle and aim to achieve positive outcomes for KCC and the residents of Kent. Responsibilities include:

1. Supporting commissioning processes
2. Supporting contract management and monitoring
3. Maintaining spreadsheets and analyzing data
4. Working in partnership across KCC, our partners, and the market
5. Identifying best practices and lessons learned

Candidate Requirements

Alongside the experience, skills, and knowledge outlined in the person specification, applicants should demonstrate:

• Understanding of commissioning or service development
• Willingness and commitment to personal and professional development
• Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines and work independently and as part of a team
