A leading company in the utilities sector is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to manage end-to-end commissioning processes. This role involves developing commissioning plans, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Candidates should possess 3+ years of commissioning experience and strong MEICA knowledge.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' commissioning experience, ideally in water or utilities.
  • Strong MEICA knowledge, including control systems and instrumentation.
  • Hands-on experience with FAT/SAT and technical documentation.

Responsible to: Area Commissioning Manager
Contract: 12 months
Hours: 45 per week
Competitive salary

What you'll be doing:
• Manage end-to-end commissioning, ensuring safe and compliant delivery.
• Develop and execute commissioning plans, test schedules, and documentation.
• Review design inputs and coordinate FAT/SAT and system testing.
• Track budgets, risks, and progress, reporting to the Area MEICA Manager.
• Liaise with project teams and support training, O&M docs, and handover.
What you'll need:
• 3+ years' commissioning experience, ideally in water or utilities.
• Strong MEICA knowledge, including control systems and instrumentation.
• Hands-on experience with FAT/SAT and technical documentation.
• Solid understanding of H&S, compliance, and industry standards.
• Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Relevant engineering qualification.
