WHAT ARE MY MAIN DUTIES?

As Commis Chef you will work closely with senior chefs who will develop your skills. You will need to have an understanding of the whole kitchen and have the ability to help all sections throughout any given day.

In this role your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with senior chefs to learn and develop.
  • Aiding with prep and tasks throughout all sections.

WHAT DO I NEED?

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A basic understanding and willingness to learn classic cookery and seasonal British ingredients.
  • Thorough understanding of kitchen etiquette and practice, such as lack of wastage, cleanliness and
    punctuality.
  • Willingness to learn and develop – we can teach people to cook as long as they have the right attitude.
  • Level 2 food safety.
  • An unrelenting pursuit of quality within all aspects of the kitchen.
