Benugo is seeking a Commis Chef / Sandwich maker in Englefield Green. You will prepare sandwiches, baguettes and salads to our recipes, supporting a busy service with a focus on freshness and quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Commis Chef or display a real passion for food
• Knowledge of some cooking techniques and cuisines
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Food preparation – To prepare sandwiches, baguettes, salads effectively & accurately according to recipes and standards.
• Station management – Oversee production of all food items at your station and keep area stocked and clean.
• Quality control – Maintain high quality standards for all food, considering presentation and taste.
• Team collaboration – Communicate effectively with team members and support colleagues.
• Cleaning and maintenance – Keep kitchen clean and equipment functioning.
