Overview of the role:

Reporting to the Head Chef, you’ll be contributing to all aspects of the day-to-day running of the kitchen at the club, including food for the halfway house as well as food served in the clubhouse.

• Maintaining high standards of hygiene
• Preparing the ingredients for a more senior chef
• Measuring dish ingredients and portion sizes accurately
• Dealing with deliveries and stock rotation
• Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
• Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately
• Sorting, storing, and distributing ingredients
• Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting, and cooking foodstuffs
• Cleaning the food preparation equipment, floors, and other kitchen tools or areas in busy periods

About you:

• Takes pride in the work you do and are passionate about delivering the high standards that are associated with the JCB Golf & Country Club
• Has an enthusiastic approach to tasks with a can-do attitude
• Reliable and likes to ensure every job is completed to the highest of standards consistently and in a timely fashion
