Commis Chef Monday-friday - London

Vacherin are committed to delivering deliciously different experiences, having fun, and conducting business with a social and environmental conscience. We are excited to be recruiting for a Commis Chef to work at Debevoise.

Location: Debevoise, EC4Y 0AY

Rate of Pay: 13.85 per hour

Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 7:00-15:30

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in food preparation under the supervision of senior chefs, ensuring ingredients are prepped and ready for service.

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen by following food safety standards and cleaning schedules.

  • Support cooking and plating tasks during service to ensure timely and high-quality dish presentation.

  • Learn and rotate through different kitchen sections (e.g., pastry, grill, sauces) to develop a broad culinary skill set.

  • Be a brilliant communicator and easily build relationships
  • Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability
  • Have a safety-first mind set
  • Passionate about food
