Job description

Introduction

The Chancery Rosewood, opening in Summer 2025 and part of the Rosewood Hotel Group, is housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield. It will feature 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand, along with various dining and entertainment spaces, providing a stage for progressive ideas, voices, and expression.

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate Commis Chef to assist our senior culinary team in ensuring the smooth operation of our Lounge kitchen, which serves light foods and a signature Afternoon Tea. The role requires maintaining impeccable service standards and food quality. You will uphold the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service, while promoting teamwork and fostering collaboration with kindness and respect. This role is scheduled to commence in June 2025.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Follow the guidance of the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef to prepare, cook, and plate dishes to the highest standard.
  2. Maintain a clean and organized section, adhering to all HACCP standards.
  3. Follow recipes and technical sheets accurately, and stay informed about all menu allergens and their contents.
  4. Take pride and ownership of your section, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
  5. Support Rosewood Impacts by promoting sustainable practices and circular hospitality.
