Job summary

De Vere Horsley Estate in East Horsley, Surrey is seeking a Commis Chef to join a busy hotel kitchen. You will work across breakfast, conferences, restaurant and events, preparing ingredients and supporting sections to maintain high standards.

Join a team where you’ll learn from experienced chefs, stay organised in a fast-paced setting, and follow strict hygiene and safety practices. Training will be provided and career progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Desire to learn and develop as a chef.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn from the team.
• Good eye for detail and pride in food preparation.
• Organised with ability to work in a busy kitchen.
• Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential, as full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and support different kitchen sections.
• Work with the brigade to deliver food to a high standard.
