Lexington-Catering in London is seeking a committed Commis Chef to work alongside the Chef de Partie, delivering high standards in a busy kitchen. You will assist with daily mise en place, ensure all equipment is clean and safe, and help maintain COSHH and health and safety procedures.

Excellent communication, a team player mindset and genuine customer service focus are essential; catering experience is required to thrive in this role.

What you’ll be serving up…

As a Commis Chef you will work alongside the Chef de Partie.

• Ensure thorough and up to date knowledge and understanding of menu and special offers in order to provide relevant information to customers and clients
• Be responsible for smooth operation of relevant equipment reporting any maintenance issues in line with procedures
• Ensure full area of responsibility is clean, neatly presented and stocked at all times
• Ensure that COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and any incidents are reported in line with procedures
