Marston's PLC in Blackburn is seeking a Commis Chef to join our team. You’ll prep, create and bring our pub menu to life, learn new prepping skills and own a section of the kitchen.

You'll work alongside a friendly, passionate team in a fast-paced environment and gain hands-on kitchen experience you can take home. We offer flexible, part-time hours, a reliable contract and a clear pathway toward Sous Chef through our DNA programme.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or an experienced KP.
• Know or be willing to learn about the kitchen areas and procedures.
• Work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Help to support the kitchen team with the day to day running of the kitchen.
• Have a passion to deliver great, hot food to spec each and every time.

Responsibilities

• Provide prep and cooking support to ensure menu items meet standards.
• Assist with kitchen cleanliness and organization.
• Support senior chefs with daily kitchen operations.
