Job summary

Avisford Park Hotel in a 60-acre setting is seeking a committed Commis Chef to join a tight-knit kitchen team delivering quality dining for guests and conference events. You will work alongside the Food & Beverage team to prepare dishes for dinner, breakfast and lunches, and contribute to the daily buffet service.

The role requires previous kitchen experience, a solid understanding of food safety and HACCP principles, plus strong teamwork and communication under pressure.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience as a Kitchen Assistant, Commis Chef or Chef in a hotel, restaurant, or similar setting.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen best practices (HACCP preferred).
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication with the F&B team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes while maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
• Work closely with the Assistant Manager and F&B team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
