Job summary

Radisson Hotel Group is seeking a Commis Chef to join our vibrant kitchen team. You will contribute to delivering high-quality guest dining experiences across the hotel, supporting the culinary department, and bringing creativity to the station.

We value hands-on, can-do attitudes and a passion for hospitality. Prior kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential, and you will work with colleagues to maintain quality, efficiency and a friendly service mindset throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

• Infuse the culinary team with creativity and a passion for gastronomy.
• Supports the smooth running of the kitchen department and ensures guest dining experiences are delivered at the highest level.
• Works as part of a team to maximise guest satisfaction and respond to enquiries and problems promptly.
• Takes responsibility for duties and tasks assigned, ensuring timely and professional execution.
• Delivers on departmental plans and objectives, and collaborates to control costs and inventory.
• Builds and maintains effective working relationships while promoting the company culture and values.
• Ensures adherence to legislation and best practices, with documentation for audits as required.

• Supports the smooth running of the kitchen department, where all aspects of the guest dining experience throughout the whole Hotel are delivered to the highest level.
• Works as part of a team that maximizes guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to enquiries and problem resolution.
• Takes responsibility for the duties and tasks assigned to the role, ensuring that all work is carried out in a timely and professional manner.
• Delivers on departmental plans and objectives, where hotel initiatives & targets are achieved.
• Collaborates with their immediate report, ensuring that costs and inventory are controlled, that productivity and performance levels are attained.
• Builds and maintains effective working relationships whilst promoting the company culture and values.
• Ensures adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered, and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required.
