Commis Chef at Brigg & Stow, Bristol Airport

Pay Rate: £12.80 + an extra £1.20 for hours worked between midnight and 6 AM, making your total pay £14 per hour.

Shift pattern: Scheduled between 2 am and midnight, including weekends. 20-30 hours per week.

  • Successful candidates must provide references for the last 5 years and undergo a Criminal Record Check in line with Airport Security Regulations.
  • Applicants need to be 18 years or older to perform certain tasks or work specific shifts due to responsibilities within the role.

AS A COMMIS CHEF, YOU’LL:
  • Assist with deliveries.
  • Prepare meats and vegetables.
  • Support fellow chefs.
  • Assist in stock rotation.
  • Maintain kitchen and food safety standards.
  • Manage time effectively for preparation and service.
  • Follow precise measurements and portion sizes.
  • Perform cleaning duties as directed by the Kitchen Manager.
  • Cook dishes confidently from the menu.
