We are actively seeking a Commis Chef for the Banqueting Kitchen. Working as part of a brigade, your main duties will be to assist the Chef de Partie and Head Chef in the preparation and service of food, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times. You will also be responsible for keeping the designated kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils clean and tidy according to the property's standards.

Role Responsibilities

  • Assist the Chef de Partie in the smooth, safe, and efficient running of kitchen operations during food services and functions.
  • Understand and adhere to all relevant laws and legislation regarding food handling, storage, hygiene, and health and safety.
  • Follow all recipe guidelines and standards set by Senior Chefs.
  • Contribute to and assist in the production of innovative menu designs for relevant functions and food services.
  • Monitor and control the quality of commodities used in food production.
  • Be flexible and accommodating in providing catering for Spa members and guests.

  • Possess basic kitchen and knife skills.
  • Understand health & safety and food safety guidelines within the kitchen.
