Salary
The role offers a potential annual earnings of £32,076, comprising a base salary of £30,476 plus approximately £1,600 in gratuities.

Kitchen’s
Our flagship restaurant, the Ryder Grill, holds 2 AA rosettes and serves 700 meals daily, including buffet options for hotel guests and conference delegates. We also operate four other outlets: Sam's Clubhouse, Rocca's, The Brabazon Bar, and the Pastry Kitchen. Our Banqueting team manages various events, providing opportunities for culinary growth for both experienced and aspiring chefs.

About The Role
As a Commis Chef in the banqueting kitchen, your responsibilities include preparing menu items for conferences and events, managing food prep based on hotel occupancy, and potentially taking ownership of the kitchen in the absence of management.

You Will Also Be Responsible For

  • Cooking and delivering high-quality food using fresh, locally sourced ingredients
  • Understanding allergen and dietary safety standards
  • Maintaining temperature logs for hot items and refrigerators
  • Managing a kitchen section during busy services and supporting team members
  • Cleaning and maintaining your section and kitchen areas

About You
The ideal candidate has completed Level 3 professional cookery, has experience in a fresh food kitchen, and possesses excellent communication and presentation skills.
