Job summary

The Globe in Warwick by Brunning & Price Limited is seeking a passionate Commis Chef to begin your culinary career in a supportive kitchen.

You'll learn on the job through HIT apprenticeships (Level 2 and Level 3), with paid overtime, weekly pay, free meals on shift, and a range of staff benefits including discounts and pension. Up to 30 hours/week available.

Qualifications

• Experience as kitchen assistant or catering assistant, line cook, or trainee/commis chef.
• Enthusiasm for learning and developing basic culinary skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs with prep and basic cooking tasks.
• Support senior kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards on shift.

About you...

You'll need an abundance of passion for fresh food, and a genuine enthusiasm to learn. We'd love you to have previous experience of working as a kitchen assistant or catering assistant, a line cook, trainee chef or commis chef and have the drive and ambition to further develop your skills working with fresh food.
