Job description

Haulfryn family is looking for a Commis Chef to join a growing team at our friendly holiday resort, Devon Hills, Paignton, South Devon.

We are looking for a commis chef who can do 45 hours of work per week on a variety of shifts.

Devon Hills is located on the South Devon English riviera with a unique climate and within easy reach of the beautiful fishing village of Brixham. A passionate and professional individual is required to create delicious food offerings at our prestigious 15c Inn with its thatched roof and its updated interior along with a new outside eating area.

What Will You Do
  1. Maintain high standards of hygiene
  2. Prepare ingredients for the kitchen team
  3. Measure dish ingredients and portion sizes accurately
  4. Deal with deliveries and stock rotation
What Will You Bring
  1. NVQ level 2 in Food Preparation or equivalent
  2. Relevant experience in the food and license industry
  3. Eye for quality standards
  4. Enthusiasm for producing consistent, quality food
  5. Experience in a similar position desirable
  6. Outstanding customer service skills enabling you to integrate effectively as part of a close team
  7. Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a small team on shift
