Commis Chef Position at a 2AA Rosette Hotel

This beautiful 2AA Rosette Hotel is seeking a Commis Chef to join their talented team. Situated in a majestic country house with picturesque surroundings, the establishment offers innovative cuisine using fresh, local, and seasonal produce.

This position is ideal for a young person who has recently qualified as a Trainee Chef from college.

The successful candidate will work within a stunning kitchen alongside a passionate team of chefs, serving high-quality food and creating dishes to a high standard. Enthusiasm and creative flair are essential. Proven experience and a stable CV are required.

Live-in accommodation is available, along with free use of the hotel gym and pool.

Responsibilities include:

1. Working effectively as part of the kitchen brigade
2. Monitoring stock levels
3. Maintaining high standards at all times
4. Supporting daily operations

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Ideally NVQ Levels 2 & 3
• Experience in an AA Rosette establishment
• Background in hotel or restaurant settings
• Good knowledge of cooking techniques and styles
• Understanding of food hygiene and safety
• COSHH knowledge
