Commis Chef – Defence (RAF Valley)

Location: RAF Valley
Employer: Compass Group UK&I
Pay: £15.45 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Rota: Week 1 (05:45–13:15) | Week 2 (13:00–21:00) | 1 weekend in 8 weeks
Team: 8 colleagues | Serving 25 Service Personnel

If you’re passionate about great food and teamwork, we’d love to have you join our kitchen at RAF Valley. You’ll help prepare delicious, high-quality meals that keep our Defence community fuelled and ready for the day.

What you’ll be doing:

• Preparing fresh, high-quality dishes that delight our customers

• Supporting the Head and Sous Chefs with daily kitchen operations

• Maintaining excellent standards of hygiene, food safety, and Health & Safety

• Representing Compass Group UK&I with professionalism and positivity

• Supporting meal services:

  • Breakfast: 06:00–08:30

  • Lunch: 12:00–13:00

  • Evening meal: 18:00–20:30

• Experience preferred – but newly qualified chefs are welcome too!
